Charles Busuttil has been playing guitar and singing since the late 80’s. He has been performing consistently both solo and with several bands ever since.
Gianluca Busuttil, his younger son started playing drums when he was a toddler, he started studying officially with Robert Spiteri when he was 5, and continues to do so.
Luigi Busuttil, his elder son, started learning guitar with his dad at a very early age. However, when in 2015, a dear family friend, Stuart Spector built a one off bass guitar in memory of his grandad, with whom he was very close, (Charles’s dad; Felix, who had suddenly passed away) he immediately switched on to bass. He has been studying bass with several local and foreign teachers and also studied with and forms part of the Big Band Brothers Juniors.
Together they formed the trio Family3 in 2016 and have played many events, festivals and venues in Malta and Gozo, played as official guests for the president of Malta, and did gigs in France and in Woodstock New York. They also play weekly on national TV.
