Concert cancellation

Dear Rock the Fort attendees

We regret to inform you that this year’s Rock the Fort, organized by TEN08 Group in Vittoriosa is being canceled. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to proceed with the event as planned.

On June 3rd we were informed by the competent authorities that a section of the bridge leading to our chosen venue had collapsed, posing significant safety concerns. The bridge was deemed unsafe for any form of transportation and it became evident that the structure would not be repaired or rebuilt in time for the event.

In the days following this incident, TEN08 embarked on a diligent exercise to find an alternative venue within the Birgu locality. We explored four potential options, but unfortunately, we encountered numerous tangible obstacles and were unable to secure the necessary permits from the respective authorities. This unexpected force majeure situation left us with no other option but to cancel this year’s edition of Rock the Fort. We share your disappointment and we are sure you understand that this is a significant setback for our non-profit organization, which has been working for the last six months to organize what has become an annual musical event. It is particularly disheartening for us, as the financial losses incurred to market the event alone are irrecoverable.

Ticket refunds will be provided to all attendees who have already made purchases. We apologize for any inconvenience this cancellation may cause and assure you that we are committed to ensuring a smooth reimbursement process.
